The Smart Link is a free webpage automatically generated by Bandsintown that is unique to every artist. This page shows your upcoming events while driving live stream views, ticket sales and fan engagement.
You can share the promo page short URL on Twitter in 2 different ways:
1. HOW TO share Your smart link in a TWITTER post
Click on the Twitter icon on the popup window. It will redirect you to the Twitter account you have linked with your Bandsintown account. If you don’t have any, it will redirect you to the Login page.
On your Twitter account, click on the ‘What’s happening?’ box, at the top of the page. Paste the short URL (Twitter will generate a preview of the link).
Whenever your fans click on the image, they will be redirected to the promo page.
2. HOW TO ADD your short link iN your TWITTER BIO
Click on the Twitter icon on the popup window. It will redirect you to the Twitter account you have linked with your Bandsintown account. If you don’t have any, it will redirect you to the Login page.
On your Twitter account, click on the ‘Profile’ button at the left-side menu. After that, click on the ‘Edit Profile’ button, under your header. Paste the short URL with a caption that describes what it is (e.g. Click here to check all tour dates!).
Press ‘Save’ and you are all set with a permanent link to your tour dates on your bio.
Promote your events on Facebook, Instagram, and other digital platforms. You can also add the QR code on different printed material.
