Platform Upgrade

What is this about?

We have been working hard this past month to prepare our services to migrate to a brand new platform. This upgrade is necessary for us to support the growing activity on our services and guarantee you the best performances as well as new features and future innovation. We are super excited!

When is this scheduled for?

This is a major upgrade on our infrastructure. It will require a 24h maintenance period during which Bandsintown Manager will not be accessible.

The operation is scheduled from Tuesday, June 12 at 8:00 am to Wednesday, June 13 at 8:00 am (ET).

What will be affected?

Bandsintown Manager will not be accessible for the entire duration of the operation:

  • for new visitors, this means you will be unable to sign up until the operation is complete
  • for returning users, this means you will not be able to login, add or edit events, update your artist or venue profile, send posts to your trackers and RSVPs, or check your page analytics.

For that reason, we highly recommend that you anticipate this operation and schedule ahead of time any event you wish to publish for that date. See below for more details on how to prepare.

The Events Widget, the Bandsintown API and the Bandsintown integrations for Squarespace, Wix and WordPress will continue to respond on your website throughout the operation. We will be sourcing your events from our new platform, which will be completely synchronized with our current platform: all events already published or scheduled for publication on that day will be accessible and redirect your visitors to the corresponding ticket distribution websites, as usual. In case you think you are missing an event, you can always contact us.

Note this operation will have no impact on your artist or venue page on the Bandsintown Concerts app and the Bandsintown website.

How can I prepare?

If you don't have any upcoming event to announce, or if your announcements are scheduled before or after the duration of the maintenance, you do not need to take any action.

If you have upcoming events to announce on the same date as the maintenance, please visit Bandsintown Manager before the date of the operation and make sure to add your events and schedule them for publication on that date. Please remember the scheduled publication date and time must be based on the time zone of your event's location.
